CMJ 2012: “New Shapes” 19th October @ Santos Party House

New Shapes returned to CMJ for it’s 3rd consecutive year and once again Santos Party House was the venue for the night.

Once again the crack team of Neon Gold, Chess Club and Plugged In were able to pull together a ridiculously buzzy line up featuring the likes of Sky Ferreira, Capital Cities, Icona Pop, Lovelife, Busy Living, JJamz, Citizens! & Gabriel Bruce split between two stages

The venue was at capacity for the vast majority of the night, which has become something of a standard for New Shapes parties at both CMJ & SXSW.

CMJ 2011: “New Shapes” with Neon Gold 21st Oct @ Santos Party House

We are delighted to announce that Plugged In are throwing another party at CMJ again this year with our good friends Neon Gold under the “New Shapes” brand we started last year at CMJ.

This year’s party features sets from T.E.E.D, Walk The Moon, Goyte, Data Romance, St Lucia, ANR, French Horn Rebellion, Savoir Adore and The Knocks.

So if you’re at CMJ come on down to Santos Party House on Friday 21st of October and party with us!

SXSW 2011: “New Shapes” with Neon Gold, Communion, Chess Club and MCT

SXSW 2011 saw Plugged In team up with Neon Gold and Chess Club again as well as adding Communion and MCT to the list of contributors.

Arguably the strongest party line up to date from the “New Shapes” team with performances from Viva Brother, Wolf Gang, Grouplove, Dry the River, Reptar, The Naked & Famous, Boy & Bear, Young Buffalo and special guests Mystery Jets who played their only set of SXSW.

CMJ 2010 saw Plugged In team up with Neon Gold for the first time as well as our friends from Chess Club again to put on the first party under the “New Shapes” brand.

The party was a huge success and was arguably the best line up at CMJ that year featuring performances from Grouplove, Alex Winston, Fenech Soler, Samuel, The Good Natured, The Knocks, Sound of Arrows, The Postelles, 1,2,3, Oberhofer and Devin Therriault.

SXSW 2010: “Coffee No Pants” Party with Chess Club, This Side Up and WXPN

In 2010 we put on our first party at SXSW together with our friends from Chess Club, This Side Up, WXPN, Aquarium Drunkard and The Bell House.

The party featured some of the hottest new acts at SXSW that year including The Middle East, Avi Buffalo, Freelance Whales, Lissie, Fyfe Dangerfield and Free Energy.

The party was at capacity by 2pm and a remained that way until close.
